Steve Donaldson
Steve Donaldson
has worked in parish and retreat ministry for many years, currently serving his
eighth year as Executive Director of the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life
of Puget Sound (SEEL).
As a spiritual director, he uses his gifts along with his organizational skills to offer retreats and group discernment sessions to diverse organizations and communities throughout western Washington. He is currently working with Native American communities in the Oregon Province.
Steve is an alumnus of Seattle University and is the proud and involved father of two teen-aged children. His interests include literature, sports, and travel. He has been privileged to lead pilgrimages to Spain and Rome which visited important sites where Ignatius lived and worked.
The poet Mary Oliver, in the closing line of her poem The Summer Day, asks,
"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
Using the wisdom and guidance of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, Steve continues to explore and live this very question in his ministry and his life.

I work in partnership with Tmothy Corey to form a powerful team to support groups as they move through significant change or in support of an event, community or initiative. Having two or more of us present makes a significant shift in the depth of the work we can do.
